Curriculum

We are committed to providing the most comprehensive educational material available to young children today and that is why we are proud to offer the proven and nationally renowned Biblically based A Beka Curriculum. The A Beka Christian curriculum is a spiritually, academically, and socially based curriculum developed to meet the needs of Christian preschool programs.

Pre-K2

Our two year old program offers language development and listening skills that include color words, shapes, animals, transportation, countries, community helpers, health, safety, manners and science. Mathematics focuses on simple counting 1-30, and number concepts 1-15. Bible Hymns, choruses, and memory verses are also a very important part of our daily schedule.

Pre-K3

Our three year old program offers recognition of names, sounds, and pictures for short vowels and consonants as well as formation of vowels and consonants in upper and lower case.  Other areas of learning focus include language development and listening skills, color words, shapes, animals, transportation, countries, beginning writing skills, community helpers, health, safety, manners, science, and social skills. Our three year olds are introduced to numbers 1-50 and basic number concepts 1-25, sequencing, patterns, and more. Lessons such as the Creation, Noah, Daniel, and Jesus as a child are a few of the wonderful Bible stories your child will learn each week. Morning devotions are held in the classrooms daily.

Pre-K4

Along with the A Beka curriculum our Pre-K 4 program forces on phonics and reading readiness.  In language arts, students work on their recognition of names, letter sounds, and picture of long and short vowels and constants, soundings of blend and one-and two vowel words, reading of sentences and short stories with one- and two vowels words. Mathematical and numerical concepts focus on number recognition, counting 1-100, and number concepts 1-20. Writing instruction focuses on the formation of letters, blends, and words. Language development and listening skills achieved include color words, shapes, animals, transportation, countries, community helpers, health, safety, manners, science, and social skills lessons. Bible lessons are read and studied daily.
