Greeting Antioch CCC Families,
We are praying that all of our families are safe and doing well.
Our nation is in the midst of uncharted disruption and changing information daily in regards to when we will be able to re-open Child Care Facilities. As urgent and uncertain as things are currently, we wish you continued vigilance in keeping safe and healthy.
Although it is tough to determine an end date for this COVID-19 crisis, we hope to return back to providing quality care to all our students and families as soon as we can.
Due to the anticipated continued closure of child care programs due to COVID-19 and the mandated executive order by Governor Hogan, on March 27, 2020, Antioch Child Care Center will discontinue billing parents as of May 1, 2020.
Thank you to the parents that have continued to pay tuition thus far during this crisis and in doing so your child’s enrollment space with us is secure when we reopen.
This pandemic has forced Antioch to make many executive decisions when deciding how to handle several business practices due to this unforeseen crisis. Although there is no language in our current parent handbook regarding how to handle tuition payments during government shutdowns, pandemics, natural disasters, or state of emergencies, (it will be updated), our withdrawal policy has not changed. Therefore, if you have withdrawn your child due to COVID-19, or if your child is still participating in our program and have an outstanding balance, we ask that you pay your balance by May 1, 2020. If you did not provide the required 10-day written notice, as stated in your parent handbook, you will still be responsible for tuition for the final two weeks plus any unpaid balance due. For more information concerning your account, you can contact Mrs. Babbs at email@example.com or myself at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Again, we do understand that we are all living in unprecedented times in our lives and we ask that we continue to work together as we make it through this very unfortunate crisis.
